EPDM is breathable - so it allows moisture and heat to escape, but impermeable – so won’t let in moisture that might lead to damp and rot in the future.

 Once fitted, an EPDM flat roof can be expected to last for 20-30 years, and sometimes longer. 

 Its flexibility makes it perfect for roofs with skylights, orangeries with sky-pods, and other uneven structures. 

 All in all, it’s a much better option than traditional bitumen roofing felt.
